Kristín Ýr Pálmarsdóttir's painting exhibition is currently on display at Hotel Framnes in Grundarfjörður. Kristín Ýr says in a conversation with Skessuhorn that she has 10 paintings on display and they are all painted with oil. "These are landscapes and pictures related to the sea, as I have my roots in Grundarfjörður. The connection to the sea and processing is my theme, but as everyone knows, these industries are the mainstay of the economy here, "says Kristín. The exhibition is set up in connection with the town festival "At a good time" which takes place in Grundarfjörður the weekend of 27 to 29 July. However, the exhibition will be open until 15 August.
